Access Texts! Priesthood, Privilege, and Piety

My text study this past Saturday morning focused on a commentary by the Kli Yakar about why it was the priests who cured tzara'at, a skin affliction that the tradition claims is caused by various types of sins. I believe that we can all learn a great deal from from his insightful analysis, and focus on the attributes of humility, tact, and contentedness when we pursue positions of leadership.

The Truth about the Goldstone Report

Judge Richard Goldstone who is famous for releasing a report accusing the Israelis of premeditated war crimes in the last Gaza war, has just publicly retracted his report. He asserts that his accusations were wrong and that he was used by the UN Council on Human Rights in order to perpetuate unsubstantiated anti-Israel bias.
